Mr Alkhaffaf performed an anterior fundoplication earlier this year, and did an amazing job. For over 30 years I had serious gastric reflux, and had to take omeprazole daily. Since the operation I have needed no medication, and have no reflux, life changing isn't too strong a description. I would recommend Mr Alkaffaf strongly to anyone with a gastric issue.

I was referred to Mr Alkhaffaf for a Hernia. I found him very easy to get on with, to easily understand what he intended to do and I felt confident that the problem would be resolved with him doing what he said he would. Needless to say it was. With Keyhole surgery I was up and about in a relatively short period of time and have now fully recovered. The service received at The Alex was first class. Attentive nursing staff and a spotlessly clean room. I would highly recommend Mr Alkhaffaf and the team working with him. He is a credit to the profession. Glyn Roberts

From the first initial appointment regarding my gallbladder with Mr Alkhaffaf I felt totally reassured about what needed to be done also when I explained about my hernia and worry about the laparoscopic side of the operation as I've had 2 previous investigations via my belly button he said he could sort that out too while he was in there ..happy days lol I had a longer wait than normal for my operation due to suspected sleep apnoea and sure enough I was diagnosed,so this also meant an overnight stay and a worrying time for me being put under (I had complications coming around on my last op) but again with his team and brilliant anesthetist (shout out to Steve Gold) they made me feel totally at ease and I was more than happy to trust them all to take great care of me,which they all did 100%. I woke feeling slightly tender but not too bad and was walking pretty soon afterwards. I wanted great care and to quote another reviewer I sure got great care. Also while I'm here thank you to the nurses on the recovery ward for keeping me company during the night and making sure I was okay. I've always had a good word for Manchester Royal and it's all the staff that make it so. Thank you Mr Alkhaffaf keep up the fantastic work you do.

Dr Alkhaffaf: I am extremely happy with the care and treatment I reviewed from before and after my operation. I explained all my symptoms, everything was taken into consideration. Some of these symptoms could have taken several appointments. But Dr Alkhaffaf didn't waste anytime. During my operation all the necessary checks were done. I am much better now mentally and physically. Thanks to Dr Alkhaffaf. I recommend this Doctor
